History/Social Studies Content Teacher

CALLING ALL HOMESCHOOLING TEACHERS!

Part Time (17 hours/week $40-45/hour)

Paid planning time outside of work hours.

 

Austin Rising School is a homeschooling school focusing on project based, hands on education. We are looking for a history/social studies teacher who is creative, fun, and works well in a team. Applicants should have experience with teaching children, preferably of all ages. A bachelor's degree is required for the teaching position, unless you have ample teaching experience in humanities. Our organization aims to make education fun, flexible, purposeful, and supportive.

Working hours is a 3 day work week (Tuesday-Thursday), with Mondays and Fridays off. Applicant will be teaching 4th and 5th grade. One lesson plan scaled up or down to fit class level. Classes are small ranging from 8-10 students.

Hours are from 9:00-3:15pm. Tuesday-Thursday
